A Shark Sword has a durability of 251 and deals 6 (File:Grid Heart.pngFile:Grid Heart.pngFile:Grid Heart.png) damage.
In the 1.6.4 update (and possibly 1.7), Shark Swords and other weapons only did 1 damage against mobs or players, but as of DEV v8.0.0, the damage for this sword has been fixed, along with all other melee weapons.

Trivia
- Shark Swords resemble or may be based on the Leiomano, a Shark-toothed club. It was used by various cultures, including Polynesian, but the weapon was mostly used by native Hawaiians.
