The essence of light is an item that can be used on mobs to produce varying effects. It is one of the four essences.

The essence of light is made with all three essences; the essence of darkness, essence of undead, and the essence of fire.

Usage
The essence of light has the most uses out all of other essences. It can be used for:
- Obtaining a pegasus, in which you must fly on a tamed bat horse above cloud level, (around layer 150) and then use the essence on it (you have to dismount the horse to give it the essence).
- Crafting a wyvern portal staff and fairy amulet.
- Healing a unicorn or pegasus if they've taken damage.
- Obtaining a unicorn, which is created by giving a nightmare an essence of light.
- Getting a winged white tiger, lion or liger.
- Obtain a fairy horse, which in order to create, you need to give both a pegasus and a unicorn an essence of light under the normal breeding conditions. The resulting horse will be a fairy horse. Be warned that by breeding a fairy horse, the unicorn and pegasus will both disappear in the process.
- Obtaining a light ostrich.
- Obtaining a light wyvern, by using it on a mother wyvern.
- Getting a wyvern egg of a specific wyvern. In order to achieve this, you need to give an essence of light to any tier 1 wyvern. For example, giving an essence of light to a savannah wyvern will give you a savannah wyvern egg and so on.
Upon using the essence, the player will get an empty glass bottle in return.
Crafting ingredient
The essence of light can be used as a cheaper alternative for crafting a wyvern portal staff.
