Light level of 7 or less on the surface on the Overworld
Mini golems spawn naturally on the surface of the Overworld on solid blocks in light levels of 7 or less.
Mini golems spawn in dimly lit areas with light levels of 7 or less. Mini golems are different than big golems, and are less dangerous. At dawn, generally when the sun is 15 degrees or more above the ground (that is, when the moon can no longer be seen), mini golems will catch fire and burn once exposed to direct sunlight.
When a mini golem notices a player within a 16 block radius, its eyes and core will turn red, and it will start picking up nearby blocks and throw them at the player. Mini golems can also damage the player by 'touching' them if they get too close to the golem. Mini golems will not throw blocks at the player if they are in water.
Unlike big golems, mini golems do not have a shield, and do not resist damage from weapons.
