Mo' Creatures is a Minecraft mod that was made by DrZhark. It provides many new animal and monster mobs, as well as the ability to tame and ride some.

Overview

The Mo' Creatures mod adds a variety of over 50 new mobs to Minecraft. The mod focuses on allowing the player to interact with and tame new creatures. Each mob in Mo' Creatures is either passive, neutral or hostile, and some have advanced AI, which of course depends on the player's presence.

Some activities in the mod include fighting hostile mobs and crafting new blocks and tools by gathering various resources found in the mod.

Blocks

Mo' Creatures adds 14 new blocks to Minecraft, most of which are exclusive to the Wyvern Lair dimension. There are also unused blocks for the Ogre Lair, but they are Creative only.

There are different types of Wyvern Lair blocks; natural blocks such as Wyvern Lair grass and Wyvern Lair stone generate n the Wyvern Lair, with grass and Wyvern Lair dirt covering most of the island and stone making up the rest of it. There are also blocks that the player can craft, such as Wyvern Lair wood planks and Ogre Lair wood planks. Resources can be extracted from blocks by hand or by using tools.

Mobs

The Mo' Creatures mod adds over 59 mobs to Minecraft. These mobs include four types of bears, nine types of insects, several fish, and many more.

Dimensions

The Mo' Creatures mod adds one dimension: the Wyvern Lair, and another one that is still planned which is the Ogre Lair.

Wyvern Lair

The Wyvern Lair is a dimension in Mo' Creatures, accessible with the use of a wyvern portal staff. It is the only place where wyverns spawn and can be found naturally. It is also home to other mobs such as snakes, bunnies and insects.

Upon arrival in the dimension, you will spawn on a structure made out of quartz blocks. This structure is the only way that the player can get back home with the use of the portal staff.

Ogre Lair

Main article: Ogre Lair

The Ogre Lair is a planned dimension that is still in development. It is currently not accessible, and in a future update, three ogre bosses are set to spawn in the dimension, along with ogres.
