Can generate post-generation

Wyvern Lair trees are generated structures of Wyvern Lair Log and Wyvern Lair Leaves blocks found in the Wyvern Lair.

These large trees are found in the Wyvern Lair, and are much larger than oak, birch, and dark oak trees that spawn in the Overworlds. Tree canopies are composed of Wyvern Lair leaf blocks, and grow several blocks higher than the highest Wyvern Lair log. The canopy may begin from the ground and go up to 4 blocks from the ground. Tree canopies are generated from roughly spherical clusters of leaves about 5 to over a dozen blocks across, centered on sections of trunk or branches.

Most of the time, a single tree will have between one and six branches, and each branch will have between one and six Wyvern Lair logs.

Growth and characteristics

Wyvern Lair trees are created when a map chunk is generated in the Wyvern Lair. However, unlike Minecraft trees, Wyvern Lair trees do not have saplings, and cannot be grown by the player. Also, Wyvern Lair trees do not drop saplings when their leaves are destroyed.

Wyvern Lair trees can be chopped down for their wood, which can be crafted into Wyvern Lair wood planks. The leaves can be harvested and used for decoration.

  • Floating trees may appear when small above-ground ponds or lava lakes generate in an area. This happens since the tree is spawned when the chunk loads first, before the pond or lava lake appears underneath. This leaves the tree floating above the lake.
